Audrey Tautou in Beaumont Puy De Domme, France was born on the 9th of August in 1976. Audrey is the eldest child out of 4. Her parents, who were a dentist and teacher in a school, supported and encouraged her early love for drama and theatre. She initially hoped to be a monkey expert was replaced by a desire to pursue a degree in theater and drama. The early success of her career and the rapid increase in recognition was a sign of her development as an actor. When she finished her education She was a part of the French talent-spotting TV show Jeunes Premiers which was sponsored by Canal+. She won the Best Young Actress prize at the Beziers Festival of Young Actors and started her career as an actress. Tautou went to church and Institut Catholique de Paris during her early years, but now dissociates herself from these upbringings. She pursued a career in modeling alongside her acting career and is the face of L'Oreal Mont Blanc and Chanel frequently referred to as the Chanel Muse. She also has a serious photographic passion and has recently produced an exhibition of her work at the Arles Festival with the name Superficial. Her work focuses on celebrity as well as popularity. It also features an assortment of self-portraits as well as a focus on journalists that have scrutinised Tautou since her meteoric rise in stardom following Amelie. Audrey Tautou became a star and was recognized internationally for her first role in Amelie Poulain from Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie Poulain.
