Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
My son played in the playpen as I worked 12-hour days cleaning the floors, and removing wallpaper. Ha! Everything was starting to fall in place, yet there was still a long way to go. It would take a great deal of effort as well as a passion of shopping. To keep my budget in good shape, I went out with three of my boys to look for deals at estate sales. The routine we had for the week consisted of walking from Thursday to Saturday through estate sales and garage sales, buying vintage and modern pieces, and then I would spend weekends painting and sanding the driveway. The look was a little similar to the following... Here's where my love for the restoration of antique furniture began. After our home was finished, I didn't want to stop! There was an area on the market, where I would sell items. There were so many pieces I didn't have a clue what to do with them and I outgrew my space. There were open houses at my house that saw more than 1 000 visitors came through on one weekend, and buy anything they saw in the first floor. That's how my company Growing Days was born. Growing Days was more than an extremely successful company, it was also my sweet family. Finding the balance was important to me. I wished to be both a mom and also a successful business owner. Growing Days was the obvious option. Nora my fourth child was born in 2013. This was an excellent direction for my business but I also needed an escape. I took a break from creating vintage furniture and slowed down my pace in order to stay at home and help my children. It was exactly what I needed. However after a few months off the phone started to ring. They were asking for my assistance in decorating and home renovations. A majority of them were people who came into my residence in my open houses for furniture. I began to take on clients one at a time working at my own pace but it didn't take time before I was running numerous accounts and had a complete home renovation business. If you'd have told me that this business of mine could become the premise of a tv show on DIY Network I probably would have thought you were crazy. In fact, I laugh a little when I remember the story.
