Markie Post is a noted American actor best known for her role as public defender Christine Sullivan in NBCs sitcom Night Court the bail bondswoman Terri Michaels on ABCs drama show The Fall Guy and Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman in CBSs sitcom Hearts Afire. Alongside acting, she also has experience in game shows. The daughter of the scientist Richard F. Post and his poet wife Marylee Post was raised in Walnut Creek and Stanford alongside her two siblings. She studied at Las Lomas High School where she participated in cheerleading. The school she attended was Pomona College. Post was previously married to Stephen Knox. Michael A. Ross has been her husband, as well as co-writer since 1982.
